Our reproductions will last for a minimum of 20 years indoors in good condition. Guaranteed. To understand what makes a reproduction of a painting a good quality fine art reproduction, you should understand fine art reproductions. Gicleé (pronounced gee-clay) is a French word meaning "to spray." In English, ink jet. This is only the method used to apply ink to the paper. Gicleé reproductions are the result of a perfect blend of art and technology. They achieve the intention of the artist with more accuracy than any other means currently available. A state of the art graphics printer sprays 4 million drops of water-based inks per second onto a spinning drum which holds the paper. Droplets of uv protected ink the size of a human blood cell (4 picoliters) are applied with an accuracy that is unsurpassed in the art world. Gicleé reproductions have turned the art world upside down - reproductions of amazing quality are now available to everyone. The term Gicleé can be used for any ink jet reproductions, including your basic home computer printer's output. A basic home ink jet printer is unacceptable for fine art reproductions because the inks used will fade within weeks, starting with red and progressing over a brief period of time until all you're left with is a faded grayish printed paper. This is not acceptable. Gicleé is the standard term most people believe means a good quality reproduction. Many good quality reproductions are gicleé reproductions and gicleé is the most technologically advanced printing process today, but this term really has nothing to do with the quality of a reproduction. The most important part of a fine art reproduction is not the method used to apply ink, but the ink itself. If the reproduction is created with inks that will not fade on acid free paper, the reproduction will not fade. Our inks are guaranteed by us for 20 years against fading. We can easily guarantee this because our inks are independently rated from 38 - 150 years against fading. The next part of the fine art reproduction equation is how the original painting image is captured. Gicleé and our other reproductions are captured by computer, also the most technologically advanced way to capture artwork today. Absurdly high dpi in the original scan and the actual reproduction are very important. That's how you get clear, sharp reproductions. The final part of the fine art reproduction is accurate color. This final part is why Jennifer Branch, the artist, makes all her reproductions herself. She can put the original painting next to the reproduction and works with the reproduction until it's as close to the original painting as possible. She has the freedom to keep working with the reproduction until she's as happy with the quality of her reproduction as her original painting. Jennifer Branch only paints paintings she's happy with - anything less you'll never see. She only creates fine art reproductions of her paintings that she's happy with the quality of. If there is ever a problem with a fine art reproduction that has been reasonably well cared for (guidelines below), Jennifer Branch Gallery will replace it. |

These are standard sizes to frame & very suitable sizes for above a mantel or sofa. We now offer limited framing services to make your life easier! We have chosen a few of our favorite frames in standard sizes. If you have any questions, please ask. Your framed painting will show up on your doorstep ready to hang on your wall! To look at frames, please go to the painting's page of your choice, choose a size reproduction or original and click on the Submit button. You will be sent to our Frame Choices page where you can look at your painting in different frames against your wall color with the cost of each frame with that painting. To continue shopping, click that button. To purchase a framed painting, check the frame order box at the bottom of the page and submit your order. To purchase an unframed box, simply continue submitting your order. We only ship with plexiglass because of potential breakage. All of our framed paintings are double matted in acid free off white mats. Off white mats are the classic choice for framing watercolors. For more variety on frames and mat colors, please visit your local frame shop - they have incredible variations available! We offer a variety of frames chosen by Jennifer Branch. Most of these frames will look very good with all paintings it lists with. If a frame doesn't complement a painting or painting size, it won't even show up as an option. These are the same frames Jennifer Branch uses in her home. All of our prices include everything it takes to hang your painting on your wall. Framing, matting, plexiglass and shipping. We try to keep our prices reasonable. Since we buy designer frames wholesale, we think we succeed. You can definitely find cheaper frames, but we doubt many places will have our quality of frames at a better price.
Since Jennifer Branch Gallery only offers off white matting in the sizes above, if you want other options please check your local frame store. Smaller and larger matting, a plethora of colors and decoration are available for framing paintings. Jennifer Branch Gallery offers a few simple framing options at reasonable prices and we cannot compete in choices with your local frame shop. These are the options Jennifer Branch frames her own paintings in, simple and elegant styles. Framing is generally not available for international shipping. |

| Choose a mat & frame size that complements the space you're where you're going to hang the painting. A larger space will need more paintings or a larger painting, frame and mat. Don't hang a small isolated painting in a huge space. It will look lost. On the other hand, a painting managed to just squeeze in a space looks ungainly and out of proportion. Make sure the mat and the frame size work together. For example, if you choose a wide frame (4" +) place it with a narrower mat (2"+). A wider mat (4"+) will look better with a narrower frame (2"+). Don't overwhelm the painting with a huge frame and mat. Simple frames usually emphasize the painting. However, ornate frames might suit a room's style. This is personal choice. Make sure that the color of the frame appears somewhere in the painting. This doesn't mean a gold leaf frame needs a metallic gold in the painting, but gold or yellow. A silver frame, silver gray or blue, etc. Original paintings are traditionally framed in an off white mat, usually double. This is the only option we're able to offer in our framing service. If you want a colored mat, just follow the color rules for a frame - the mat color needs to be in the painting. Also, always mat paintings in acid free or pH neutral mats. Acid will eat into a painting and gradually destroy it. PH neutral mats are readily available. All of our included mats are pH neutral. You have an option of plexiglass or glass for paintings. We use both. Plexiglass scratches easily, but glass breaks. |

If you need a painting or reproduction immediately for a special occasion, please call 404-664-5723. We'll do whatever we can to get your artwork to you when you need it. Occasionally, we might anticipate a long delivery time for a particular frame because of our frame supplier's delay. If that happens, we'll contact you to ask if you want to make a second frame choice, wait for your first choice, or ship unframed. |

That's as simple as a shipping table gets! All shipping costs given are in the continental United States only. Shipping costs outside the continental United States will be higher, so please contact us before making your order. any problem with the painting when you receive it,
returns are easy. Just contact Jennifer Branch Gallery within two days
after you receive it & have the painting in insured return mail within
14 days. Only return paintings after you have contacted
Jennifer Branch Gallery and always insure the painting.
The full cost will be returned to you. Sales made at galleries, festivals or art shows, since the purchaser has seen and approved of the painting before purchase, do not have this same refund policy. There are unscrupulous people who purchase paintings for dinner parties and return them or other like things. If you do have a problem with your reproduction or painting, please contact us immediately and we'll work out a solution. We're very easy to deal with, but paintings aren't "loaners." Jennifer Branch Gallery or BranchStudio are not responsible for the painting after delivery in good condition. |

| Gift Certificates Gift certificates can be purchased when you know someone will like a painting, reproduction, workshop or workshop dvd by Jennifer Branch, but you don't know which one! Gift certificates are printed on Jennifer Branch's watercolor paper notecards. They are very elegant & we can print whatever message you want on the card. A discount code and the amount of the gift certificate will also be on the card and can be used through the web site or by phone. Gift certificates for workshops will give the date of the workshops. They'll be handled like any other workshops, changing to another workshop date is easy to do with adequate notice! Most weekend workshops are the same price. Our paintings and reproductions are priced by size, so it's easy to give someone an 8 x 10" LE reproduction ($35) or an 8 x 10" original painting (generally $375), etc. but let them choose the painting they want! |
