It's been a struggle between gardening and taking great photos of deer - they definitely won't stand still long enough for a painting. Unfortunately they are crepuscular, so it's more difficult than I would have thought - especially since I don't want them too close!
I am having great fun gardening - I've built a few stone walls from rocks on the property and they look gorgeous with the flowers coming out of them! I've removed a huge English ivy bed from the front of the house - do NOT plant that stuff, it spreads like crazy and has to be removed by hand! In its place, I've planted a ton of David Austin's English roses - wonderful roses that need practically no care! In between them, everything from native wildflowers to tomato plants!

I love this painting of a tidal pool in Maine that I finished. It really captures that glowing light right before sunset starts. All the colors are just slightly enhanced, not golden quite yet.
I've started work on an Exploring Watercolors video in Portofino, Italy.
That's pretty much it - gardening and painting! (Which is work, which is play, I'll never know!)
