The first week
in April, we'll be meeting in Savannah for a fantastic workshop!
I'm very much looking forward to seeing Savannah in the spring.
All the flowers bloom then and the azaleas are simply spectacular!
I'll be back
there in May for the Seafood Festival, my favorite festival of the
year! It's wonderful to just relax on River Street, watch the little
tugboats shepherd the massive ships and eat seafood. Ahh, that's
the life!
I'll be at
the Atlanta Botanical Gardens for a workshop in April. The orchid
house is spectacular! I understand that in May they'll be showing
garden railroad trains - since my N scale train and gardening are
some of my favorite hobbies, I'm looking forward to that.
Currently,
I'm working on an alligator and cypress trees painting from the
Everglades, one of Little Moose Island (Schoodic Peninsula, Maine),
and some harbor seals (Orr Point, Maine).
I'm trying
to learn Italian for my upcoming May-June trip. I will consider
my language skills a great success if I can ask directions and order
meals! I'm looking forward to seeing where John Singer Sargent and
most of the great artists painted.
